The trustees have delivered a van load of baby items to an organisation called Baby Basics that operate from Dersingham church, and they cover all of the area catered for by the Queen Elizabeth maternity unit. This fantastic charity staffed by volunteers who make up baskets for new babies with many essential items as well as Moses baskets to give the babies a safe and warm bed supporting those in desperate need.
In the first year they donated 50 baby baskets to needy new mums in the area and so far, this year they have donated a total of 279 all on the recommendation of local midwives and health professionals to maintain confidentiality
